All About Me...Me...and Me...
It is always exciting to be able to find new talents within yourself. I, like many others, found myself absolutely in love with jewelry and wanted to explore the creative side within myself. It took some time and a lot of practice to finally be able to call myself an artist, but I now can offer my charmed creations to others who share the same love. My handcrafted creations contain one-of-a-kind lampwork beads made by talented artists located all around the country. I have also been back and forth to Boston, learning to create my own beads to offer to my customers. It is my hope that my creations will soon find their way around to different states, so that all people can enjoy them. I really hope that you enjoy my creations as much as I have enjoyed making them for you! It is difficult to part from them once I create them and they become sold because I put my heart into each one. I take great pride in my work, to ensure a life-long charmed creation.
Aside from my artistic ability, I also teach 5th grade in an inner city school. This job definitely keeps me on my toes and up-to-date with all the latest trends. My love for children has been with me since early on. Although I do not have children of my own, I like to consider all of my students', my children. They keep me hip, and young at heart...wait...I am only 29...so I guess I am young at heart!
You probably can consider Boscoe, my 80 lb Boxer, as my 4-legged child. I absolutley LOVE him to death. I rescued him 4 years ago from an abusive home and if I could, I would rescue them all! I truely believe rescuing is the way to go. Why purchase an animal when so many out there need loving homes?
Last, but not least, my husband Chris...All of you married women out there, you know what I am talking about. Each day opens a new door and brings us on a new adventure!
